I love Crumbl and have been a loyal fan for years. Their cookies are almost always showstoppers, which is why I’m giving them 2 stars and not 1. The last 2 times I visited this location, I noticed they’ve switched the ordering process so the customer does all the work entering orders into a tablet. I can understand the desire to automate the ordering process, but it has significantly hurt the customer experience for a couple reasons. 1) From the time I entered the store to the time I got my cookies and left, not a single word was said to me except “here” as they gave me my cookies. I wish they would at least say hi, because I felt very unwelcome in a store where the employees wouldn’t talk to or acknowledge me. It seemed like I was a bother to them. 2) They had enough employees to easily spare one person to help me with my order or answer questions. Instead, the workers were tossing wads of cookie dough into each others’ mouths. 3) Lastly, tbh I’ve never been in a Crumbl that was busy enough to even warrant digital ordering instead of talking to a person. And ordering cookies is like a 3 minute process anyway. Unless they change this, just order cookies from your phone anyway.
