Bike Doctor is Bel Air did a great job performing service on my son's bike. We were in and out quickly. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

Great local bike shop! Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Had an issue with the bearings in my back wheel and brought it in thinking I would need to leave it to await my turn for service. When writing up my ticket, the tech looked at the wheel and offered to fix it on the spot. Long story short, 20 minutes later I was on my way and ready to ride! Love this place!!

The bike mechanics are very good and friendly to work with. My rear derailleur needed an adjustment and it was done while I waited.

Yes we do! We have Electric bikes in stock and they are a blast to ride. Come in and check things out!
Absolutely! Just stop on by the shop and we'll be happy to discuss your options.
They do, on behalf of Jamsquad. Wonderful service to the community :)
We do indeed sell BMX parts! Happy to help with anything you need. If we do not have exactly what you need in stock we are happy to special order things.
Currently we do not service e scooters. Thanks for checking in though!
For sure. We are happy to help. We also sell Electric bikes as well and would definitely recommend coming in to see our selection. Sometimes we have just what you need.
Unfortunately we do not buy bicycles. That said we do offer trade in's through a third party if you are purchasing a bicycle from us. The trade in program doesn't work for everyone or every bike but it's an option we like to offer.
If the bicycle uses electronic elements that we are certified to work on we are happy to service it. Call the shop for details.
David, Stock is ALWAYS changing but I believe we got in about 20 bikes yesterday. Definitely call the shop to see what we have. We're open 11-6 during the week and 11-5 on Weekends. We look forward to seeing you! -Dan
Polar, That's a question with a ton of variables. The time it takes to repair a bike depends on the repair needed and our current workload. This could vary greatly. If you have questions about a specific bike and/or repair, we recommend stopping in the shop and bringing the bike with you. We provide estimates while you wait and can definitely get into more specifics.
Steven, Unfortunately three wheel bikes are not a product that we typically stock. We have a very limited ability to get this product. What we often recommend is that you see the experts at Mt. Airy Bicycle Company in Mt. Airy, MD. It's not exactly around the corner, but if you're serious it's well worth the drive. They often have stock put together and on the floor so that you can sample various models. Of course, we are not affiliated with them in any official capacity so please call ahead to verify stock levels. Hope that helps! -Dan
COVID Safety precautions at our store involve requiring all customers and employees to wear masks (properly) at all times. Additionally, we sanitize the store on a regular schedule. We try to help everyone maintain a minimum safe amount of social distance.
Dee, we do have access to select product very similar to Strider. Feel free to call the shop and we can chat about your options.
Yes. We will assemble bikes as a service. Feel free to give us a call tomorrow during business hours. Thanks!
Tom, We do not repair carbon frames. The only company I have found to do a reputable and quality job is Calfee Carbon Repair out in CA. They are friendly and do good work. Also, if they can't fix a specific area they are open and honest. Hope that helps. -Dan
Normally during the off season we might offer limited in person clinics on basic maintenance. For the time being however, all of those classes have been suspended due to COVID-19. We look forward to resuming them at some point in the future and will definitely post on social media channels when that time comes.
We are certainly able to repair bikes but depending on how old the bike is we are not always able to get parts to fully restore bikes.
We have gravel bikes in stock from Trek and Cannondale. We have the Trek Checkpoint and the Cannondale Topstone. Both are great!
Yes sir we do. More than happy to help. The fee to package a bike is $75 and we can arrange for shipping.
We don't typically keep that tire in stock but we can easily have it for you next day! If you need to place and order just call or stop by and we're happy to help!
Happy to replace your grips. If your bike is capable of accepting a cage we can put one on pretty easily.
Chuck, We have a wide variety of parts in stock. We are happy to help you with anything you need. If we do not have exactly what you need we are happy to order it for you and get it in ASAP. Financing is available through the Trek Credit Card, which we accept at our store.
Marla, There are a lot of variables in that question and it would be really tough to give you an estimate without know more details on what is the specific issue with the brakes. The best thing to do is drop by our shop and let us take a look. Estimates are free and only take about 5-10 min.
Most likely we will be able to assist you. We have helped others with this issue in the past but in the end it really comes down to some of the specifics regarding the wheel. Stop by our shop with the wheel and we will be happy to take a more detailed look!
Steve, We are always happy to give estimates on repairing bicycles. It is always best if we can see the bicycle but in some cases I realize that is not possible or convenient. A chain for the type of bicycle you described would be $19.99. If you have additional questions or want to know about more repair work feel free to contact us at the shop! 410-569-8833
