Great food in a warm atmosphere. Service was exceptional. Everything was fresh and prepared perfectly. Price was right. Owner stopped by to ensure we were satisfied which is rare these days. The best place I've ever eaten in Oneonta by far.

Understandably, the place was very busy being the first Friday of full baseball season with a local camps. However they're running out of steaks at 7:30 when they were taking groups as late as 8:00. Food was good in the service was fast and the servers were very nice and happy.

Man ow man a delicious food. The wings r amazing. Just the right hint of spice and sweet. The spice just touches your tongue won't burn or leave after burn. The soup was another treat. Ham, pineapple and what ever else made my tongue dance. I like the different breads they bring to the table.

We have eaten here several times. It is generally very good. Features include daily home made soups. Bread and rolls with a different type of butter daily sometimes honey butter sometimes blended with berries or different spices etc. I haven't found too many places that do this it is a unique touch and usually very good. It is a small town so not for late night dining. They are closing by 8 pm so I recommend arriving by 7 or so. They will seat you at 7:45 but you won't have the same experience as if you are earlier. Daily specials tend to sell out so you will miss out on them and at closing the kitchen crew like to crank up their music as they begin cleaning and putting things away. That definitely changes the ambiance a bit. Think I've eaten here 5 or 6 times the entrees have always been good. They are known for a great rotation of soups. Only one soup I didn't care for; but it is in general an enjoyable experience and I leave satisfied. I might add all the waitresses that have served me have been friendly and nice also. Out of the restaurants I have eaten at in town this is the top so far and most will agree it is most likely the best restaurant in town.
