Ronie's/B&B birds is an amazing parrot rescue. Even if you aren't rescuing a bird (rescuing a parrot is a very big responsibility and requires a lot), being able to go and see birds on their open house days is such a fun experience, and being able to donate and help them out is even better. They always need donations for the basics (newspapers for bird cages, money for food and toys) so I love being able to directly do my part and see the result of that. Sometimes they'll even let you pick a toy if you ask! When parrots get to go to a forever home it's a great feeling knowing you helped their quality of life in the meantime.

We are so in love with our new family member Cobe a blue and gold macaw. Roni’s was so great to work with us since we traveled every week to visit him. They not only gave us a great deal, but sent us home with toys, food, cages and more. I am so impressed with how hard working everyone is there. If your in the market for a new bird family member, go to Roni’s.my daughter also got a sunconure that is the cutest thing ever.and dances every morning.

Great people, providing an incredible service towards animals. I plead you come here before going to any direct pet store.

I think what she means is that it isn't a simple transaction like other pet stores but they are consistantly getting people who don't understand this despite their efforts to spread the word. You don't walk in one day and simply pay and walk away with a new feathered family member - it's a vetting process over several weeks to make sure that the bird matches with the customer before being taken home, which is different from many other stores. These are mostly rehabilitated birds and they want them to be cared for and not end up back in another store because their caretakers decided to give them up again and many customers don't get it. As for your question Denyce, I think even if you had a flashing sign in front of the store explaining it you would still get people expecting a typical "buying process". Maybe make a disclaimer on all your advertising saying something like "adoption takes 4-6 weeks". Edit in response to Denyce: Thanks for all you guys do! Our human baby is doing great!
You have to go in and meet the bird first. The bird also has to pick you
Yes theres is, it depends on the bird of interest.
Not currently. They are focusing on the overwhelming amounts of birds being surrendered currently. They do not have extra staff available for outside events.
No birds for immediate sale. Only birds that require a lengthy adoption process.
They dont sell birds! Its a rescue for birds. But they sell bird toys and stuff for birds
Yes Ronies is the place to go. But what kind of birds? Message me please before contacting them
No unfortunately running for the love of birds does adopt out budgies. But they have lots of different birds. They function as a rescue and Rehabilitation store
You can always check the website to see pictures of who's there right now
Large birds, like an umbrella or macaw, is $14 a day, Medium birds like the African Grey or smaller cockatoos and Amazons is $12 a day, small birds like like Myers and conures are $10 a day, and extra small birds like the cockatiels and canarues are $8 a day.
They don't actually sell birds. They are a rescue where if you match with a bird after a few weeks of time with them then you are eligible to adopt. Different types of birds come and go. Last time i knew they hadn't had any lovebirds surrendered. These guys are amazing and i fully support what they do. The birds come first.
I would check their website. They keep it pretty updated on the birds they have available. But also stop by and meet the birds if you get the chance because you just might find one you didn't know you were looking for and fall in love with one.
They may take them, I would call them directly. I know they take in birds and re-home them, but they have a budget and if they don't have the room or the money they may not be able to. Call the store directly.
Each of the birds here are rescues. There isn't a set inventory of birds, and they really aren't up for purchasing. There is a small fee for adoption. If you'd be interested in adopting any of the birds I'd recommend going to the rescue and meeting the birds and seeing if you bond with any of them. :)
I do not think so, I would try the zoo, or Tracy Aviary.
Conures are less common there than other larger parrots like macaws, amazons, and cockatoos, but they do occasionally have smaller parrot rescues up for adoption, so like others said you'd just have to call/visit them and see.
They dont sell birds, all the birds available are up for adoption. They only work with rescue birds, as a nonprofit.
