This is a wonderful time of year for visiting Dunton Locks! The weather was perfect and the scenery was awesome! There were a few people fishing.. hiking and out doing photography. I urge people to visit this County Park any time of year!

We park at the bowling alley (Voyageur Lanes) and walk from there. We walk by the parking lot at Dunton Locks Park (where the pavillion/picnic area is, new sailboat sculpture) and follow the trail over the bridge, etc. Our last walk was 2.67 miles round trip. It extends but we usually turn around before it stops being paved. Hope the helps!
