Very clean camping site right on the Suwannee River. There are pontoons for rental and there is a nice pool with a jacuzzi nice clean bathrooms most campsites have campfire pit as well. There was a small convenient store with a few necessities if needed not sure if that was still open or not, as I did not check. Nice ramp to park your boat as well. It is very far out from Ocala FL. And probably a 2 mile drive on a dusty lime rock road to reach the park.

Nicely kept campground/resort. The waterfront sites have great views of the river, along with some extra space. Plenty of trees offer ample shade. Bath and laundry facilities are clean and well maintained. The back in sites have the power pole at the front of the lot, so be prepared with at least 25 feet of extension power cord. Nice boat ramp and dockage on site. We will visit again.

I am sorry to say I have had the worst experience ever...... Heat wouldn’t work. WiFi wouldn’t work..... So basically my family and me were stuck in the woods in a damp humid rental. Freezing with no way to connect to the world. The plumbing leaked as well. I checked in Friday night and first thing Saturday morning I went to the office and reported everything. No one helped. No one gave a darn. But after we left they called because one of the NON-working heater remotes was misplaced and they said, •••I may have some additional charges.....•••••. That is the most poorly ran , bad managed place I’ve ever stayed... and to be truthful, my family usually stays 4-5 nights at different places in north Florida once every 2 months. So I am well experienced in what’s ok, greater , and downright horrible.... This experience was the bottom of the barrel. The worst.... if you are looking to make someone miserable then this is the place. A bad joke. Additional charges????? They should be offering a gratuity refund... Am I right????

3.5 stars. This is NOT a resort. Strongly recommend a river view site. (wouldn’t stay otherwise). We were in site 18. The sites are pull-in, shaded, and level, with connections on driver’s side. Sites are packed sand (like the roads thru the campground) and it is easily tracked into your RV. When it rains it gets all over everything! Speaking of rain, when we arrived it was raining and the 2 mile drive from the paved road to the campground is bumpy, slow going, and the wet sand was all over the RV, our tow vehicle, and after setting up, inside your rv, shoes, dog, etc. The campground has good wifi, weak/no cell service, 21 channels of mostly ‘snowy’ cable tv, one bathhouse, laundry room, a heated pool and a hot tub. You can rent boats (but not kayak’s, canoes, etc) from the office. There is a boat launch and boat ramp if you have your own boat. We had read in reviews for this campground - before arriving - about the water quality and despite double filtering it, we still had to use bottled water. There are a few RV sites that look like permanent residents (small freezer on their porch), and there are long-term snowbirds. We really liked the water view; shaded area; and sitting outside by the fire pit in the evening. Fire wood was $8 bundle. At the office, they sell fire wood, ice cream, water and soft drinks. A decent grocery store is in Old Town, Fl. There isn’t much nearby, so bring everything with you. Remember, picnic tables are not provided at your site. We did see a gator in the pond near the dog park. We enjoyed the campground fire pit and hot dog roast. The staff and other campers were friendly. 3 days before our scheduled departure, a rude camper moved in next to us and proceeded to walk thru our campsite = twice - and the one next to us to reach their friends at another camp site. While we were sitting outside by campfire, they attempted to walk thru campground again – with their kids and dog – and we asked them to walk around. The next morning, I saw them coming out of the shower/bathhouse WITH THEIR DOG. Then, they went thru the our campsite again.; morons. Speaking of dogs, this campground evidently doesn’t enforce the dogs on leash rule. We decided to leave a day early rather than endure the inconsiderate people next to us. Doubt I’d come back to this campground, but we did enjoy it the first 4 days

I would imagine, YJ is not a "snooty" type camp ground. You should get welcomed with good Southern hospitality, not Northern rudeness.
Made reservations by visiting the campground web site.
You will have to contact them directly. This past weekend saw the Suwannee River encroaching on to the tent sites.
It is on the river and they rent boats. There is a boat ramp also
Sorry I didn't fish but it is on river and is a nice place worth a try
The garbage the place is a garbage dump the pool doesn't work it's empty jacuzzi doesn't work $70 a night for Riverfront don't bother going there go someplace else
Agree limited selection and about 5 miles away, best to bring staples such as beer and meat
