This place makes me want to face palm my forehead off. I'm sure the health professionals here are capable, truly. But my beef with this place is about the student health plan that they automatically charge all the BYU students every year. This is my third year at BYU and I have a recorded history of health insurance that I pay for. However, because I didn't update the insurance that they already know that I have before the add/drop deadline, I was automatically charged over $1000 to my account for a student health plan. Of course I'm not paying that because I already pay for health insurance. However, there is a hold on my account until I do which doesn't allow me to register for classes next semester. When I called in just hoping to call it a simple misunderstanding, the representative spoke with me in a condescending manner and basically barked at me to get in line behind thousands of other students in the same boat. (if there are thousands of students struggling with this, don't you think this might be an inefficient way to verify health insurance?.. just a thought) I had to sign a release waiver from the student health center with no guarantee that it will be granted. Oh, by the way I won't find out for at least 3 weeks if it is. And if it isn't, I'll need to petition through another avenue to remove the charge from my account which will no doubt take a lengthy amount of time. Registration opens in 5 days from now so even if I am granted a release, I'll be lucky to get into any good classes. An impossible situation that is affecting both the financial and academic stability of my life because I forgot to check a box before the 6th of September... unbelievable.

This is probably the worst run health institutions I have ever been to. The administration of it is horrible, wait times are awful, and they really don’t care about students. Again, probably the worst medical option in Rexburg, which is saying something.

Both secretary and doctor acted like they were fed up with everyone and everything. I get that the job is difficult, but patients shouldn't be treated coldly. They already feel like trash. The doctor actually rolled her eyes after I said something. Please have compassion on my poor, ill soul. I give three stars because I got an appointment within a week and they helped me with what I needed.

This was was a two star review, I am now changing it to a one star. Some of the staff are not nice and everything is very unorganized. It feels like they have no idea what is going on and try to blame it on the patient. This has happened to me multiple times; they tell me to schedule an appointment and then when I get there they tell me I am one day too early even though they were the ones who told me to schedule it. Only reason I came back was to finish my work up but I will NEVER be coming back. This is seriously ridiculous.

Tell your supervisor and they can send you to the health center.

I'd like my daughter tested for learning disabilities. Where do I go to have that done. She was at BYUIdaho, and have moved to Provo to continue school here, if we can get her tested.

Have her go the University Accessibility Office. It's in the Wilkenson Student Center, around the corner in a hallway to the right of Subway.
