Shame on this school to have Bandula working for them , he needs driving lessons himself, I called the office to book a package of 5 lessons that includes the road test, they connect me with Bandula , I spoke to him on the phone the day before the appointment we agreed on, he didn’t mention that he only takes cash , Since am taking package of 5 lessons I figured I can pay by credit card or debit card, I got in the car with him I start driving he insist that we stop by ATM machine to get cash , he wouldn’t do it after we finish, we stopped by the first ATM wasn’t working then we have to look for another ATM machine , we found one , after I paid him while we supposed to be driving he started asking me a personal question to waste time and all that time we wasted on looking for ATM machine he deducted from my time , I supposed to get 45 minutes lesson, I felt like I got nothing and he wouldn’t do 2 lessons at one time I asked him if he does highways he said I have to have Driver’s license. If I have driver’s license what do I need you for. Stay away from this school.

Both of my daughter’s have had the best experience with South Driving School. Phil was a great teacher, very patient and took the time to work with my girls. They both felt confident with him as an instructor. Definitely recommend for driving lessons or just a refresher before a road test.

Driving instructor canceled the appointment twice literally at the last minute. I called their office and requested another instructor for my son. It’s been one week and nobody called back.

Yes, you can take a road test in your own car. If you have any further questions, you can text/call 201-538-4958.
Hello. In order to schedule a road test, you need a 5 hour class certificate, not a 6 hour certificate. The 6 hour class is for defensive driving. Unfortunately, NY State is not allowing any driving schools to conduct any classes at this time. Hopefully, NYS will give the driving schools permission soon or come up with another alternative.
