Today's adventure to Wild Florida was truly impressive. Many times, when you visit an attraction with children you leave feeling like you didn't come out ahead. That is not the case with Wild Florida. First, we took a thirty minute airboat tour of the lake. Captain Todd was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. It went way beyond a typical ride. From there we enjoyed something to eat at the on-site restaurant. Again, I was shocked with the bang-for-your-buck value. It wasn't a gourmet meal, but it didn't have to be. We then took a stroll through their nature preserve and saw Macaws, skunk, baby alligator, 'teenage' alligator, adult alligator, albino alligator, turtles, and much more. This was truly a wonderful stop in our family vacation.

We absolutely LOVE this place! We did the boat tour on Saturday at 9:00 am so we arrived around 8:20, plenty of parking spaces (by 10:00-11:00 am was completely packed) and we checked in and waited until our boat arrived. Beautiful views, boat is pretty noisy, but tolerable, we saw a couple of baby alligators, which was awesome, and a lot of birds. The captain of the boat was knowledgeable and nice. I think his name was Bobby. After the boat tour we were allowed to go to the park and see the different exhibits and animals. We fed alligators, we even hold a baby one (with permission and supervision obviously). We pet baby goats, and a tiny pig , they were adorable! . All the staff are super friendly and nice!! For sure we’ll be back soon . 100% recommended!

We had a good time. For the airboat ride, it was really convenient that the supplied hearing protection, but it is better to bring your own foam earplugs, I used both. They have food to buy there, but very limited menu, and they get busy so it takes a while. Next time I will bring my own lunch. The highlight was watching the gators get fed, and the ostrich come right up to the window. We went on a Monday and it didn't seem crowded at all

Wild Florida is a great place. It was a lot of fun. It is not a full day unless you want to spend a lot of money. We did just an animal interaction & just walked around. If you want to do the air boat ride & drive through safari you can spend a full day. But even if you want to do even one of those things, I definitely recommend it. The staff is super friendly & zoo keepers speak very highly of the place. The food is well priced, good quality, & the corn bread is fantastic. We bought more on the way out. Definitely worth the trip & we will be making another this year.

The trails would be fine for a disability scooter. The staff are lovely and very helpful.
Florida resident price is $5, not sure about out of state
To get into the park is free for the rest of the year, the air boat ride is the thing we went for so we did the air boat & park, well worth the $. The captain was friendly and very knowledgeable. All the staff were wonderful! Go for the hour air boat ride. We did 1/2 hour but next time it will be longer.
Open every summer come back now y'all here
Correct. Like in any other wildpark/zoo, you and your pets are just visitors in some animals home and should be able to behave as such.
Didn't see any there. Might be best to call
We are closed on Thanksgiving because aligaters will roast you and eat you
At the end of the road is the building for it and you can park next to the walking zoo
Yes feed the animals but don't feed the aligaters because they'll eat you
No age limit for kids, any age is ok - life jackets and hearing protection are provided. Florida residents get into the wildlife park for just $5 which is cheaper than regular admission or Groupon discount. The wildlife Park is a great value and there will be plenty of picture taking opportunities there.
Yes we do...15% off all airboat tours and 50% off gator park admission!
Indeed they do... Awesome experience!!!
No kids allowed because if you let in a 2 year old to pay millions of dollars that 2 year old will be fed to the aligaters so please keep your 2 year old safe
Yes yummy cheeseburger chicken fingers French fries oh and refreshing ice tea and lemonade
$5.00 for florida residents. $10 for non residents. About 28-40 per person for airboat ride depends on length of tour. Go on a Monday or Tuesday. Fyi they are closed on sundays. Its amazing. Go to their website for more details.
It was free until December 31st as they we celebrating their 7th anniversary. Now I believe it's $5 for Florida residents and $10 for non-residents. Call to confirm though.
I would think so as long as she does not spook the other animals
Park admission is always free even after Jan 1st. They sell animal feed near the animals with 3 for $5.00 type deals. Airboats 30 min tour $26.50 adult $23.00 child under 13 years 1 hour private tour day/night $63.00 Includes hands on alligator demo! 60 min tour $47.50 adult $37.00 child under 13 years
Very true👍🏻 these sloths are around people a whole lot more than ones found in nature... so they do not mind. You really just let them interact with you not the other way around...
Sorry no resident available you can't never live Florida because if you do live in florida you'll get eaten by an aligater so you better watch out for alligaters because they will come to kill you and eat you for dinner
Yes we're open to the public Mon - Sat every week. We have many options for activities and packages...please see all pricing on our website WildFL.com Thanks!
It was $27.00 per person if recollection serves me right
You'd want to go to their website for that answer. They have different options with different rates depending on what you choose. Private or not private, 30 minute or 1 hour and so on
Take the half hour ride. It's cheaper.
Yes, but our airboat tours fill up quick especially on the weekends. Reservations are always recommended. Thanks
Our boats hold 17 passengers and we have a fleet of 13 airboats. Thanks for asking!
Anytime! The guides are really good at spotting gators! Sunny days are good since you will usually get "sunbathing" gators.
Yes. The boardwalks go over the feeding area when the show starts or just walk over the other side.
Yes
It's best to make a reservations online to ensure your spot
Sorry. I didn't see any accommodations. The safari is located kinda way out there on a double very peaceful highway. Cows for decoration😊😊
Yes! Today will be excellent!!
You can only buy them in person with proof of residency. Thanks
Sunscreen, glasses, and baseball hats, the ear protection helps to keep your hat on. If you're going soon it will be very hot in the sun make sure to dress for summer. Take the hour trip and not the 30 minute, well worth it. Captain Mark was great!
Definitely hat and sunglasses. Comfy shoes, water and sunscreen.
If you want a boat ride, better to make reservation .
I'm not sure what day of the week we went but we did go later in the day. It was actually the last ride of the day. It was fun but I'd definitely recommend going first thing in the morning. Better possiblity to see sunning gators
The walk in English
Gator park admission is only $5 for all FL residents.
Yes,there is a package price. Check their website for pricing. They do have a place that serves food.
+1 to Cathy's answer. I'd be surprised if they don't honor the tickets if you call and explain your situation beforehand. Good luck and best wishes for your husband.
Sorry we only have wheelchairs.
Lunch is 10 to 18 dollars per person.....air boat ride is 50 dollars per person.....Park entrance is 15 dollars per person.....Gator pellets are 5 dollars a bag.....exhibits are free, unless you wish to feed the animals....25 cents per handful......look for discounts to save lots of money......otherwise it is a small fortune to go
Nope but they are building a drive through animal park. I would recommend a car for that though. They are a zoological park that visitors walk through.
We have several basket lunch style meals in the $10-$12 range with drink. Thanks
Uber
Hey Tom - we’re building a drive-through safari park!
Hi, $10 for access to the park with free parking. Air boat rides which are a must if you go, $28 half hour and $48 for an hour. The half hour feels like ten minutes. Fantastic day out. Best thing about my holiday and wee done everything, I'd definitely go back.
Hello! Yes we do have wheelchairs here.. they are first come first serve! :)
The airboat ride depends on which one you choose the half hour or the hour long ride but admission into the zoo is included in what you pay for the boat ride
It's in a very rural area but there are hotels on 192
We don’t allow them on the boat, but you can wheel it right up to the edge of the boat and easily transfer onto the seat. Hope that works!
Hi Renee - sorry we don’t allow outside food to be given to our animals. We have a skilled animal care team that prepare very detailed diets for each animal to ensure they get everything needed to stay happy and healthy. Thanks for asking.
Absolutely, the extra time will give you the luxury to take the time to stop and enjoy your experience. For example our captain stopped to allow us to take pics of bald eagle, blue Heron, giant snails and let's not forget the gators. We visited a momma gator guarding her nest. It's like he knew exactly where to go. Sorry such a long reply but definitely worth the money.
I took my 5 month old recently and he loved it. We made sure to get him a pair of baby banz to protect his ears and he actually fell asleep on the boat despite the wind and noise!
Florida residents are only $5 each for park admission.
2 and under are free...3-12 are kids prices...13 and up are adults.
Pay on arrival. Call to book. Look online for timings to plan your call... And don't forget to ask about discounts, like AAA or military.
They were out when i was there and it was only 50
They were two weeks ago.
Also, if you pay for an airboat ride they waive the entrance fee :)
Yes they be open until at 6:00 pm
Was it worth it. I'm from Florida and just moved back from Denver after 13 years. My best friend is from Washington and chose to move here with me. She loves Sloths and I am trying to make sure she is happy here. We have done manatees, she wants to see aligators in natural habitat (I offered to drop her off in a swamp) and sloths.
They are having a $5 special for the animal park. The airboat ride is between 29 and 60 depending on what you choose
The park is free, only the water ride is paid.
