Not real sure about deer hunting or what areas, you could check online with Florida Fish and Game Commission on their site & find out.

How much is it to stay here in a RV? Is this a hunting ground, or is there a section out here for strictly hunting? Anything for kids to do? Public restrooms and showers?

They actually pulled out #4 or #5 and some of the weirs along the way down towards Okeechobee and returned a lot of the river channel back to the way it was before the Corp of Engineers had their way with it back in the 70's.
