today there was a performance, everything is super, cool dance show, but I was very disappointed that many girls danced in almost every performance, tell me these girls pay more money to the director of the studio? my daughter performed 2 times only!! we pay a lot of money to this studio, what kind of discrimination? we are very disappointed with this attitude, the show went on for almost 1.5 hours, many danced in almost every performance! and someone just one, two dances.

EDIT: The owner did finally send a refund. EDIT: The owner did reach out and apologize and said she would send a refund. That was a month ago and still no check in the mail. I put both of my daughters in the Orem Jive toddler 2-3 yr old class. Our first year experience was great! Then my oldest started to hate going and stopped participating during class. The 2 instructors, in a class of 4 sometimes 5 students, mostly ignored her and did not try to bring her back to the circle. Come to find out from her pediatrician, she was ADHD and had high anxiety. I talked with Gina through email to see what to do. We considered pulling my daughter, taking a break, and coming back refreshed. After emailing to confirm we could come back, I haven't heard from Jive about the paid 1 month worth of dance still left on both daughters account. My email was either ignored or they were too busy to reply for a full week. There are a few kind and involved dance instructors that work great with the new and distracted little dancers. Then there are other instructors and a director that seem to only care about perfection(seems a little overkill for 2-3 yr olds) and taking your money. I would not recommend Jive for young dancers, unless you dance with Brenna. She was an amazing instructor!

JIVE is one of the best dance studios! My daughter just started her 4th year here and my son and myself are starting our 2nd year. I have not met a dance instructor that I don't like and their once a year concerts are always AMAZING! They have classes for all age groups and all skill levels and none of the teachers make you feel bad is your skill is low. Gina the Director and owner is amazing to work with. If your looking for an amazing Dance Studio this is it!
