I super pleased with my 1st experience with Tacony Library. They actually opened on time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

First time @ the Tacony Library and I like it. I brought my son so he could do school work etc. It was clean and quiet with 2 other patrons. It was nice.

I took my youngest 2 grands in, to get books they needed, for their summer reading project. They met Ms. Leah there, she is the Children's librarian. They knew her, as, she came to their summer camp, along with a co-worker, to do reading visits there. Ms. Leah was very helpful to the girls, helping them find the books , needed for their projects. They also went outside, to participate in a painting class, outdoors, with the staff. Upon leaving, the girls checked out their books, & even got new library cards. All in all, we had a very nice visit. A very nice library to visit..!!📚📚

There will be a large community Halloween Celebration event this year on Saturday, October 29 from 4:00-7:30. There'll be crafts, a haunted library basement, costume contest, spirit dancers, firepits, and a trunk or treat on the 6700 & 6800 blocks of Torresdale Ave.
I believe so.. you have to ask them..
Yes, MWF 1:30 to 4:00. You're only allowed in for 30 minutes. Browsing books is "normal".
Go online at www.thefreelibrary.org or .com and log in with your library card info...use the search bar to find what your looking for and reserve it.....#simple
Driver's manuals are only available on the PennDOT website. You can access it from a library computer, if you want. We can also give you an extended computer session so you can study.
No, we do not have paper versions of the PA tax forms this year. The state really wants everyone to file electronically, so they no longer send tax forms to libraries. You can come in and print paper forms from the website, or contact the state and have forms mailed to your house, or visit the State Rep's office to see if they still have forms. Our state reps are Mike Driscoll and Joe Hohenstein, depending upon which street you live on.
This is the branch manager here. Sorry about the mistake. Your DVD should've been unlocked when you borrowed it. Please bring it back to the library and we'll unlock it for you. We can also extend your due date to make up for the time you had it but couldn't watch it.
Ideally, yes you do need a library card in order to get a reservation for the computer. If not, its no problem. Just bring an ID and we can help you print out whatever you need.
Yes. It's a combination copier and scanner. Photocopies are 25 cents per page. Scanning is free, but you'll need to bring a USB drive for saving scanned images. Photocopies are black & white and can be single or double sided.
Yes but call ahead...
