This park is really nice, they have a good maintenance and this has soccer field, basketball, baseball, skate part etc and is really nice for talking a bike ride or walks.

Was able to use a pavilion for a gathering of friends. We were very close to the playground which made it good for the kids in our group. Nice picnic tables and the dog even had fun with the ducks.

Veterans is an activity park - soccer, walking, jungle gyms, and even a skate park. The drainage of the soccer fields isn’t the best, and it seems like parking is always an issue. The attificial turf fields are very nice and good for young kids to play on.

I'm giving this 3 stars, only because right now, the skate park is setup perfect for beginners, and they're shutting the park down for upgrades. Dunno what changes they're making but hopefully it'll stay beginner friendly. It's a nice quiet little place to get your footing for skating. It would be nice to see more long, but short in height rails for beginner grinds.

Yes, go down the path between the skate park and the restrooms. It is a very nice and safe dog park.
Unless they changed the park, it should be off to the right when you first enter veterans beyond the skating area
There were still a few decent sized and deep puddles as of a few days ago. It hasn't rained in the last couple of days so maybe it's better now.
