Big selection, especially for manga! Very quiet environment, and lots of tables to sit at as well as couches. Definitely coming back again soon :)

The children really like going in for Story Time and Circle Time. They love making the crafts and taking them home.

Questions & Answers

Can the library use volunteers

Stacey Small | Oct 25, 2018
Matthews Public Library | Oct 24, 2021

Hi, Stacey, Thank you for your question. There are several volunteer opportunities at the library throughout the year. For example, rummage sale, book sale, and Hinkelfest are times of the year when we need volunteers in various capacities. If you're interested in volunteering regularly throughout the year, it's a good idea to contact the library directly either by phone or email (or in person the next time you're visiting).

Hi, Kathi, Thank you for your question. Yes; if an email is attached to your library account and email notification is set up, you will receive automated emails regarding due date reminders as a courtesy service. If you have additional questions about this library service or wish to set it up, please contact the library directly either by phone or in person.

Do you accept used books and encyclopedias?

Andrew Whitehill | Oct 25, 2018

I'm not 100% sure, I think they sell books, not necessarily accept them. Computers have rendered encyclopedias obsolete, although it is impossible to use a computer when the electric has failed.
