The experience itself was fun, but way overpriced ($50 per person per hour, plus tip of course). The part I was very upset about is that I was charged extra ($10) for the piece I made and I kept telling the instructor that the handle of my piece wasn’t on properly but he kept saying it’s fine. Of course, when I received my piece the handle broke in the kiln, making it completely useless. I would be ashamed as a business owner to hand a broken product to a customer. They did not refund me for the extra charge ($10) for the broken piece.

The studio is a wonderful shared space for 3-D artists to work and display their creations. Public classes are also offered. Kevin is community minded, and the studio hosts the annual fund-raiser, Empty Bowls, for the Transitional Living Center.

I use super glue, if the aim is to have the piece stay together. Note that the glued piece may not be leak-proof if the pieces were not a perfect, snug fit! There are specific other options, including refiring the piece with clay-based filler designed for the piece to get back to it's original shape, but that's much more involved. Hope that helps.
Yes. They have classes. They list them under Lancaster Creative Factory. https://lancastercreativefactory.org/classes-and-camps-1
