HUGE improvement from its sketchy beginnings when passengers were greeted by a barren, poorly situated area. Access and passenger pickup were smooth and efficient. I had to "short" my review by one star because the ingress road leads through a commercial truck working area, creating a potential hazard for drivers who might be a bit apprehensive about moving about between and around large vehicles. Solving that potential problem will boost the rating to the 5-star plateau.

After we disembark from Queen Mary2 at Pier 12 Red Hook Brooklyn, where do we go to request for a ride with Uber or Lyft. Do we walk from the disembarkment pavement with luggage to the Red Hook Terminal and wait outside?

Walk outside to your left. There's a waiting area for passengers to get uber, Lyft etc. Using the porter service will get you there efficiently. I'm a porter and will gladly assist you.
