One of the best places for Biryani. I love their chicken and goat Biryani. However, I didn't like other chicken gravy. The gob manchurian here are great too! In totality good place to go for authentic Indian family restaurant.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. This restaurant used to be good but it is really awful these days. Where do I even begin. I ordered starters and some food. They ended up bringing the main course first and mid way through finishing my main course they bring the starters. The Mysore masala dosa was really really bad. We ordered malai kofta which was really good but the disappointment was the onion kulcha and paneer naan. They were the size of a thin roti. The photo I added is the onion kulcha, it looks like a kulcha papad if you ask me. Our starters were chili bhajji which was ok but the chili paneer was absolutely horrendous. We couldn’t even eat a single piece of paneer. It was paneer marinating in something that looked like a cheap tomato sauce. If this place is known for Biryani they should abandon everything else and just sell Biryani. I have never been to a restaurant and felt so unhappy while leaving the place. The icing on the cake, the lassi we ordered was only three-fourth full.

One of the best biryani I ever had outside India definitely recommended this is really authentic biryani house in Rochester City, I ordered a hyderabadi biryani with chicken tikka masala and mango lassi all of the foods are excellent. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for authentic Indian food place in Rochester City.

4.5 stars. This restaurant had not opened when I was living in Rochester and I really wish it had. This is the only authentic biryani I've had there! We came here on a week night but had reservations. Good thing because it was quite full! While they call themselves biryani house, they have south Indian cuisine primarily, some north Indian curries and the Biryanis. We ordered the Kodi vepudu (chicken vepudu), the Hyderabadi dum goat and chicken biryanis. They take time to get the orders in, so it allows you to actually have a conversation with your group. The vepudu was very good but too oily. That is the reason I give them 4.5 stars. Everything about it other than that was amazing! Spicy, masaledar and well-cooked as far as the chicken goes. This is definitely a dish for spice lovers. The biryanis were excellent! We ordered a spice level of 6, which I (who LOVES spice and always goes for highest) actually thought was decently spicy!! I didn't need to add any raita to calm it down. My brother, who took a 7 on the goat biryani, thought that was a little more spicy than he liked, so may be that would be the perfect level for me. Both biryanis were delicious. The rice was nice and separate. The meat (both goat and chicken) was really cooked well and the spice and flavors had seeped through it all. Quantities were great. We shared a biryani between two people and still didn't finish it. All in all, really happy with this place and will visit when I come back to Rochester!

All the serving employees wear masks, we maintain 6 feet distance between tables, we limit 6 people per table, all the tables will be sanitized periodically. Setup more sanitizing stations for customer use
I don't think they have started the Buffet yet in their Rochester location.
