Had a great time here. The museum has just the right amount of hands on, informational, and interactive exhibits. We appreciated that the museum faced tough topics head on. Well done!

We attended the NSBE Gala at the History Museum last night, what a great event. Nice mentoring program.

Visited the place finally after the trip was planned 2 months ago. It kept postponing. The museum is definitely worth a visit. Especially our dream was to visit the Building Denver section on the top floor. Every Coloradan should Visit this place.

There was a lot of info need to be absorbed here. I love reading history and getting to know a new town from hundred years ago to nowadays. My mind got saturated and I enjoyed every piece of this history museum, especially the miner cave part, that's lots of fun indeed.

Cell phones yes. Selling your phone is punishable by summer school.
Most of the exhibits are on the first 3 floors. We spent about an hour per floor.
There are not many activities. There is a Lego exhibit there that is small but nice. There is also a slide next to the practice grocery store. When I was there earlier this week there were also corn hole games and a giant connect four display as well.

I would call. I went recently, but also heard on the news that they are closing.
I think you can sign up for time tickets on the website
If they don't, try the Denver library - they have archives & an historical area there.

The front desk is facing the main entrance door on the ground floor.. The attendants are very helpful and will be able to let you know if they have a lost n found area. Other than that you could try the website. Cheers.
$14 for adults
Hey Melanie! When you submit questions here, other users get them, as opposed to the business, museum or other entity. If you want to know if the museum is aware of any resources of that type, you may want to contact them directly. Hope you find what you are looking for!
Adults $12, seniors age 65+ and students age 13-22 $10, age 6-12 $8, 5 and under free.
Just lucky, apparently.
You'll have to find a (pay) parking lot nearby and walk a block, or a few. You might find metered street parking, but there us a two-hour limit in those. It's only $2 for two hours, but you'll have to leave your spot when your meter expires.
