We had a great time at Topsey. We were pleasantly surprised by how long the path is. The trip was super affordable…Definitely plan to buy a lot of bags of feed! Some animals may steal it. A lot of the animals will chase your car. Be careful with the longhorn!! It was pretty scary and his horn scraped our car. It was very difficult to avoid him as he approached us. The zebras will get close, and steal the bags of feed. Thats why I recommend to buy more than you think you need. We didn’t see the camels because they were put away due to bad behavior! It’s really fun!

Been going here since I was a child. Amazing space; the kids working there are always so sweet and polite. It’s improved since the decline of animals a few years ago. You drive through the opposite way now but it seems to create a better flow.

We are a family of 5 and we loved it! Well worth the money! The staff are friendly and helpful. The drive through zoo takes over an hour to drive through it all. We bought 5 bags of feed and that wasn't enough to last until the end. Although, the camel reached his head in and grabbed one of our bags! Lol So be aware the camels will steal your bags! The ostriches will try that too! There were tons of animals out there. You'll get a pamphlet of all the animals they have. There's a mini zoo to walk through as well with peacocks free roaming. There's a little shop that you can get more feed for the petting zoo, snacks and drinks, and merchandise. The petting zoo is a large area with tons of goats to feed and pet.

Loved it! My family had a great time! Just be warned the trail is really long and you may get stuck in a line if the cars Infront of you want to stop for too long to look at animals. The animals like to slow you down as well. Also the trail is really long so if you get bags of feed don't throw it out all at the beginning. We really enjoyed the petting zoo also.

Any caged animal could have a bigger cage
Watch out the camel will stick his head in your window and take the bag of food from you. The baby ostriches follow close behind mom so gotta go slow and watch carefully.
The ranch has a huge longhorn that went up to my car and stuck his face in my window, and his horns did grind up against the car. So it's better not to take your new car.
You'll still have to pay I believe because its admission to the whole "zoo"
Ms. Samantha, Military discounts are available at the Ft. Hood Travel Center and may be purchased there. Due to our contract with them, we do not do the military discount at the gate. We hope this helps and to see y'all soon.
Adult (ages 13-61) $13.50 Senior (ages 62+) $12.50 Child (ages 3-12) $11.50 Animal Feed $1
It takes roughly an hour to drive around the park.
I cant remember how much exactly, but its very very inexpensive
Ms. Tanya, the cost of admission is $12 per adult, $10 for kids 3-12, kiddos 2 and under are free, and animal feed is $1 per bag. We hope this helps and look forward to seeing y’all soon!
I didn't see a tiger when I was there.
During the summer months we admit guests from 9 AM to 5 PM, and the park closes completely at 6. Please be advised that if you come right at 5 you're only going to have time to do the safari portion, and not the petting zoo or walkaround portion.
It was 13.50 for Adults and that pays for the drive through safari as many times as you would like also for petting zoo and 1.00 per bag of feed
About an hour or so for the drive through safari. Then you can go to the petting zoo and walk around the other enclosures and see the bobcat, tortoise and python. There are picnic tables available under the shade.
I saw a group with people in the bed of their truck but I don't know the official rules.
$12 for adults, $11 for seniors 62 and over, kids ages 3-12 are $10, babies 2 and under are free, food bags are $1 each.
It just depends how long the line is when I went it took us 2 hours its best to go early
I believe once or twice a year
Yes, we will be open regular hours for Labor Day, accepting guests 9-5 and closing completely at 6. We hope this helps and we look forward to seeing y’all then
Yes, if you like the mud because you're not driving on a paved road. You should also make sure to call ahead to see if the weather will affect park hours.
$12 for adults, $10 for kids ages 3-12, kiddos 2 and under are free, animal feed is $1 per bag
