It is a good stop to drop your boat but if you are looking to go bank fishing i would go to the other side of the bridge. There was a lot of hydrilla and our lines kept getting stuck.

Rode my bike here as the halfway point of a 30 miler. There are restrooms in decent shape. The place is mainly used by boaters and jet skiers to access the lake.

Cedar Gap Park is an Army Corps of Engineers located in Harker Heights along Stillhouse Hollow Rd. There is a boat ramp, parking, fishing areas, and a restroom. As for hiking, this park only has short trails.
