Pace Salada Park

This review concerns the Park area on the I35 side ( upstream) of the bridge. It has parking and river frontage, plus trash cans and dog poop stations. Also, a large green lawn area. Not bad, and rarely crowded. But the nicer river area is just downstream, on the downstream frontage. There you find clean running water, cobblestone bottoms, and spring water. A brief walk behind the brewery on the lawn...

My husband and I found this beautiful park, by Googling "local parks" and it a wonderful surprise. It is off the main road, in a quiet location. We enjoyed the lake and the lush greenery. It is well maintained and the locals seemed to all stop by to enjoy a brief lunch break and/or a brief splash in the lake, with family. We will definitely return, with a picnic blanket and lunch!! :)

First time coming to any events in Salado. The park has lots of shade. Love the bridge nearby and the stairs leading to the street. The festival was great. Many attendees and lots of food.

It was perfect for my little ones (age 2 & 7). They aren't strong swimmers and the pool can be overwhelming and exhausting. My kids had a blast and can't wait to go again!
