I understand that the Weather is hard to predict nowadays but as they say, this is the job that you can be wrong and still keep it. There's been failed watches, failed high temperatures and severe storms that develop outside of the watch or severe potential areas. I also understand that most of the watches and severe risks come out of Norman, OK and is just relayed to the other NOAA locations but sometimes they're pretty pathetic. I can tell more of what it's going to do than NOAA and I'm usually closer. They're not dumb or the forecasters wouldn't be there. It's changed from the forecasts from years ago. I think it's called COMPUTERS !

How inaccurate can a weather forecast be? Just follow the NWS, Valley, Nebraska. Rarely are the predictions anywhere near accurate. Just review their predictions against what happened. It’s easy to criticize but the consistently inaccurate weather forecasts from this office cause tax-paying customers look elsewhere for accurate forecasts such as UK’s MET office. -Christopher Stipp, PhD. Questions & Answers

Why aren't the wind directions, speeds, and times of the day given together anymore? Jim Flowers at WOWT-6 was the only one I ever remember giving that information and that was many years ago.

They're on the website at all times at https://w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KOMA.html

Why isn't barometric pressure ever reported anymore showing that it's falling or rising?
