The best no-kill shelter in town!

The people at the front are not very helpful. I had asked about the dogs and got a curt answer of "you can't go back there, look in the book". Okay. I understand but going back there but that wasn't my question. It was also disappointing how dirty it was. Several cats looked and sounded ill. :( I don't know if they need more help, but I was hoping it has improved since the last location.

Wonderful place to go for spay, neuter and shots. Good price for lower income people and anyone else.

Opens at 2pm waited outside with others picking up a pet for 20 minutes before someone came to the door. Front desk with unpacked bags and person totally disorganized and not ready to help people.

I believe she could volunteer there with your permission. But otherwise idk I'd they just let people come play with the animals.
They have animals in family sized rooms for people to see and play with the animals
I am not sure. I paid with my debit card.
It's open
I used to volunteer there pretty regularly. They usually like people to come in from 8am-10am on weekends and 6pm-8pm on weekdays.
I would talk to the people that you volunteer for about that.
If you're interested in adopting staff will introduce you to the dogs and l help you find a good fit. You are welcome to spend as much time getting to know the dog as you like.
Yes they do
You have to make an appointment online for services. I'm not sure about surrender
If you have an adult you can be under age. My daughter's volunteered when they were 8. I have know people in high school and middle school. They have a volunteer class. Just give them a call or look on their website.
I would call ahead and ask them before you bring pillows.
Some animals are sponsored so there are some that are free. Also, there is a timeframe that if the adoptee has been w/them a certain amount of time, their fee is reduced. Available pets and their fees are on-line. I volunteer so know first hand, when an animal is adopted, they are removed from the site almost immediately so the site should be very accurate as to availability and fee. Plus, the site has a brief description and will include if they need a special diet or medication or anything like that.
Generally most animals can go home the same day.
If they have the room they would most likely take them. Just give them a call
They can take him in and find him a great home!
Yes
$25 fee, email them :)
Call for prices. They're reasonably priced. They do not declaw there
U should call them
They do! They have a price list at the front desk. I think they're $5 but I can't be sure. They're really not pricey. They also have bonded pets that are a deal because they want to stay together. I think there's some hamster friends.
All the volunteer information is on their website. You can fill out an application there and get your questions answered
If you're interested in fostering with Furry Friends go to furryfriendsrefuge.org and fill out the foster application under the how to help section. Once that's submitted the foster coordinator will contact you
No, not today but previously.
I adopted my cat from there in the spring. She was 4 years old and had lived at FF since she was an older kitten, being adopted once and found as a stray again. They have too many cats. If you can keep him...he may sit and wait a long time for a home.
$40 for a male cat, that includes rabies, distemper, and a month of flea and tick treatment. We don't offer vaccines unless you're doing the spay/neuter as well.
