Dr. Picard saved my marriage. My husband was constantly complaining about his neck and back pain. He had seen a few different professionals, if they weren't suggesting surgery, they were doing the bare minimum. Dr Picard took the time to research different stretches and even made him a print out to keep with him to be able to do the stretches at home. The complaining has stopped and my husband can now continue to live at home.

Both Dr. Andrew & Allison are absolutely amazing! I have not had a migraine in over 2.5 years thanks to my regular adjustments! I cannot say enough good things about the treatment my family has received!

What’s the MC2 technique?

Helen York | Oct 25, 2019
Coastal Family Chiropractic | Oct 25, 2019

The MC2 technique is a tonal approach to chiropractic, meaning that it focuses on the nervous system and how it affects a person’s physiology, including bones and muscles. Bones cannot move by themselves so there must have been a muscle imbalance first. Muscles do not think or act on their own, so a muscle imbalance can only be the result of an unbalanced nerve supply to the muscles. So, the bone can only move if a muscle moves it and a muscle will only move when the nervous system tells it to. For us then, it makes more sense to address the nervous system first so all else can follow.

What do you mean by a manual adjustment?

Sam Langlois | Oct 25, 2019
Coastal Family Chiropractic | Oct 25, 2019

Dear Sam, Manual adjustments are designed to free stiff or stuck joints. The intended result of these newer techniques is to reprogram your body to start releasing and dissipating stored tension. As such they are steering your body to release, relax and realign itself.
