A glorified parking lot The challenge is that you have predominantly long term renters that setup shop. If you need an overnight place with full hook it works, but to spend a long time I don't recommend.

I stayed in one of the motel rooms with my daughter. The room was small, but clean. The staff was welcoming and the grounds were well-maintained. I loved the free kayaks and bikes available for guest use. Areas for improvement- Shower took a long time to heat up and it was difficult to turn on; bathroom is small and the toilet is difficult to access; would have liked to have more towels. These are small things. Our stay overall was lovely and I hope to return again soon.

My husband and I went for the first time last year and got immediately hooked on this beautiful rental property ! The manager Peter is very helpful and did everything he could to make me and my husband’s stay more comfortable, not to mention they are pet friendly so we get to bring our furbabies with us and they love it there as well! We are now going 4 times a year and love every second of it! Not to mention the rentals are immaculate and very accommodating and clean. Thumbs up to the housekeeping staff! Keep up the great work sun outdoors!

We stayed here June 10-12 2022. The property was nice directly on the water, with a swimming and covered deck area. We rented the handicap motel room. It's at the front of the property near the road. Had its own entrance. Upon entering the room we were greeted with the smell of urine. The room had been renovated so it looked nice. Stepping in front of the small refrigerator the floor sagged and felt as if I was going to fall through it. I pulled back the area rug and the flooring had separated and was coming apart. The sink in the bathroom was coming off the wall. The shower was handicap but was not properly built to allot the water to drain. The water would flow outside the shower area into the bathroom. The toilet also leaked. I believe those two things caused the flooring to separate but instead of fixing it they just covered it with a rug. We could never get the wifi to work I'm our room, it would only connect if we got closer to the office.
