Chief Carriers is an excellent company. I started flat bedding with Chief 6 months into my driving career and fell in love with the mix of hands on labor, driving and unique delivery locations. I was distracted by another highly rated carrier’s promises of higher pay and better quality of life, I made it less than a month with them and I am happy to be back at home with Chief Carriers and would recommend them to anyone looking for a driver oriented team

Thanks for reaching out Tina! Like most carriers, we have to move the freight our customers give us. If by "forced dispatch" you are asking if the driver has a choice of loads, then yes! If we have multiple loads on the board for the day then the drivers can chose what works for their available hours. If we have one load on the board and one truck, then that driver would be expected to take the load providing they have hours to do so. Hope that helps answer your question!
