My husband and I brought 2 of our granddaughters and 1 of our adult daughters plus 2 dogs This was our first time here. . It's definitely a nice place to stay. . We enjoyed every thing this place had to offer. The river was a bit dried due to the drought but the river was still very nice to check out and explore. We were able to hangout at the swim hole. (Bring water shoes) That was interesting. We had our family dinner outside on the picnic table that every cabin has by their porch. The staff is very nice, friendly and inviting.. So for all that are thinking or planning to stay, we do recommend it.. BATHROOM has Towels and T. P. are supplied. (Bring own personal items) KITCHEN has cooking utensils and silverware and dishes and cooking pots and pans. If you need extra you may want to bring extra.. You have to supply your own grilling needs accept the grill. We brought food to cook and snack on. They have ice trays but you could also buy bags of ice from the local general store 10 min down the road from location. I HIGHLY suggest if you're staying during the summer to bring an extra stand alone fan like a box fan to circulate the AC throughout the cabin. . Our family truly enjoyed this place. Awesome location and a great place to get away from the busy life for a while. Each cabin has everything you may need. Enjoy the peace and quiet. Will be coming back!

Excellent top to bottom. Caretaker Patti was a delight and very accommodating. The cabins are clean, well maintained, and perfect for a family stay. Lost Maples barely a mile away, grounds that keeps kids occupied with basketball hoop, playground, volleyball net, or even just a walk along the creek. 100% recommend!

Had a great 2 nights at fox fire. We stayed in cabin 7 that was close to the water. The cabin was cozy and clean and the hike at lost maples was a great way to spend the afternoon.
