Peoria Heights Public Library

A library card is issued to any resident of Peoria Heights who can show proof of address and identity and who is free from outstanding charges should they have a previous library card elsewhere.

Due to an overall seasonal decrease in patrons using the library on Saturdays during the summer, we are closed on Saturdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The library is open, 9am-5pm on Saturdays during the rest of the year.

Hello, We do have a reference copy of the complete Oxford English Dictionary for use in the library. It is the condensed/compact edition, so patrons wishing to use it will need to bring a magnifying glass. Feel free to call us if you have any additional questions. 309-682-5578

While our patrons are expected to abide by our code of conduct (which is posted near the entryway), we primarily strive to be an inclusive and welcoming environment. When possible, our goal is always to provide access to the library and its collections. Inquiries about employment can be made to staff either over the phone or in person.
