We love the playground here! It was just rebuilt in the last 3 years. It's forest themed. So all of the playground equipment has to do with trees and animals. You can climb on leaves to get up to the spider web. There are these really cute flowers that are actually drums you can play. Also regular swings and they have 2 swings that any capable child can sit in to be pushed. So awesome! There is also a bike/walking trail and an ampatheater where they sometimes have usic and plays. There are well kept public restrooms and concessions at special events.

Yes, there are picnic tables in the gazebo you can sot on shade and have food and drinks
The Village Park playground has benches, though in the sun. There are bathrooms next to the playground and a gazebo with picnic tables to have lunch
