If you like steam oysters it is the place to eat. The seafood plate I ate was OK. The entertainment was OK but not my type of music.

Food was good, service was good also. I like grilled seafood, and they offer a variety of this. Also have more traditional fried also. There is also a separate oyster bar .

Our first time. N may be last. Our waitress was awesome, great girl! We arrived shortly aft opening time, but waited 45m for our food. Portions were vry scarce for prices charged. Seafood was overcooked, slaw wayyyyy too much mustard. Tea vry weak. Hushpuppies were tasty.

33 Oyster Shack is open Thursday - Saturday @ 5pm
They open at 5 tonight. I saw Elliott's post about bad service. I hope that was an isolated incident for him because I eat there regularly and always enjoy it. Grest food and service
No. Tarboro Seafood on Main st does though. (across from Jewelers)
Reservations not needed. May need to make arrangements for large group like Christmas party.
