Full disclosure: I’VE JUST BEEN ADVISED, AFTER BEING ON HOLD ALMOST 25 MIN, THAT INTERNET SYSTEM IS DOWN AT THIS WALGREENS LOCATION. Just an FYI - will update post when I am able to get through. There is something SERIOUSLY WRONG with telecommunications at this Walgreens. It has been IMPOSSIBLE to get a LIVE PERSON to answer calls. The line rings in and when you choose an option - ie. Pharmacy or Manager, the call is placed on hold and then “We’re sorry…staff answering other calls…” message repeats endlessly. My new pharmacy in Bluffton, IN held on the line for 45 min. with no answer, trying to help me. I called later in the evening and also held for a very long time. This is a VERY SERIOUS issue when people are unable to communicate with their pharmacy regarding much needed medications.

I’ve only been to the pharmacy. The people that work at the pharmacy is rude, really just not customer service at all. The drive through and in the store pharmacy waiting is 30 to 45 minutes. Is you are expecting or need help from the pharmacy employees go somewhere else.

They need to have someone who’s primary job is to answer the telephone. When I call I am put on hold, the phone rings and rings and then someone picks up and places me back on hold. I have to drive down there in order to get my questions answered. I’ve also experienced there system being down and they did not receive my orders, but I received a text indicating they were ready to pick up. I have had mostly good experiences with the pharmacy staff I don’t believe being rude is acceptable in any job dealing with people, there’s ways to improve. I know they are extremely busy, now that the Walgreens in St George Blvd is no longer there. I try to be patient but sometimes I get frustrated.

This pharmacy leaves the doctor line unattended. Attempted to call 8 times and auto attendant picks up, you proceed with options and after on hold, there is a click but is rings constantly then the call eventually drops. The pharmacy is not capable of receiving electronic prescriptions and for the fax number, the doctor's office will need to call the pharmacy to obtain it but NO ONE answers the phone. In the meantime, the patient is unable to receive the medication(s) since the doctor's office has no way to send it - neither sending the rx electronically, by fax or calling i in is an option.
