Amazing area for gatherings and get togethers, don't go on a busy holiday though!!! Very disappointed about the coordination and organization!! Memorial day was my friend's birthday and I was helping with her party we paid to get in but the area was allowed to be over crowded and we had to pack up and leave because our guests weren't allowed entry. My friend was coming back with the food and even after paying for the day was not allowed entry due to capacity. They need to have a better way to track maximum capacity so this doesn't continue to happen and have a better way to turn traffic around when it does. Beautiful place though. Smh

I'm not sure but I think you can do a camp fire 🔥 because I see stones and ashes like some people was having a fire camp
If I am remembering correctly, there is a sign saying no pets at the entrance to the beach area, but I think they are OK at the campground and the boat launch area.

To come into the cook use area witu parking at all, there is a fee. If you dont want to swim, I'm sure you could find a random spot along the lake to stop at
But you can dive the other way (about 1.5 miles) and you'll be in Seven Points and they have grills there for free. Very nice park.
