Was at PetSmart in Plainfield, IN today. Sadly the animals in the van were waiting over 30 minutes in the sun. Was nice about it when I brought it to a young lady working for the society. She got upset & told me to mind my business. Instead of worrying about the pets that were getting over heated in the sun. Plainfield officers were on the way, but the van left. These people don't care, these pets are just another pet. The van had not ventilation for the pets either.

Well run....great dedicated staff...I've adopted 3 dogs there over the years...always a pleasant experience.

if I could leave zero starts I would. i’ve called multiple times throughout the week in the very short amount of time that they are open (their hours are wrong on here anyway) and left a voicemail about a kitten that needs to be checked out before I can take her into my house and they never called me back! not to mention they lied about our other cat be good with dogs when he’s not just to get rid of him and allowing me to adopt a very sick dog they did not treat who subsequently ended passing eight months after I adopted him. they need to do better

Crate when you can't watch a dog dear.
That's the very first thing i look at is if my fur baby is welcome or not.
We do chip at the shelter for a small fee and strongly recommend it

They differ honestly, I paid 60 for my dog....I can't remember how much puppies are but dogs that are over 6 months I believe are $125 dollars but I could be wrong. I hope this helped and thank you for adopting from a shelter!

Yes, they have Animal Care every day, it's not like they leave the kennels dirty just because they aren't open to the public!
It takes alot to run a shelter i volunteer out there monday and tuesday mornings been doing that for a couple years now.
