Beautiful place to relax wish it had a shower house but made do most of the other campers were very friendly lake had no fish because of a freeze out but there was another lake close by so it all worked out

We enjoy this primitive campground deep in the woods. It has boat access and there is also a place for swimming in Hungryman Lake. Some sites are right on the water. Most sites offer seclusion and it's quiet here. There is a pit toilet and well water. There are fire rings and picnic tables at all the sites. We highly recommend it here. The road to get here can be somewhat treacherous and can flood when it rains. Bring lots of bug spray and be careful of the wood ticks. Works best for tent camping. It would be hard to get a trailer/RV in here.

Nice, quiet campground. It is rustic. No electricity or running water. The lake is nice for swimming.

Nice small Campground. The sites are best suited for tents but our small camper fits. I've stayed here several times for an event in the area. One year I paid by credit card by writting the number on the sheet and putting it in the post. Someone apparently fished my slip out and used my number at several places in park Rapids. I called the dnr to let them know and they said they had several instances of that. I recommend paying by cash.
