I'm not surprised this clinic is closing. When we began our journey, I made a couple of appointments with Bennett and was told they only had a paper appointment book and only certain nurses in the specific office had the information needed. It was always tough to get in touch with the right person. I looked up the CDC statistics for live births and, although they were higher than the average, they were lower than the other two clinics in Oklahoma. The only benefit was that they offered financing, though their prices were significantly higher. I'm leaving this review because just a few months ago, I received an email trying to sign me up for treatments. Now the clinic is closing. Add to that the extremely negative stories I heard from others who did pursue treament with Bennett and that seems really shady to me. I'm glad we dodged that bullet. I recommend OU Infertility, who gave us our twin girls and frozen embryos.

We had a really good experience with Bennett Fertility. We were lucky enough to have been referred to Dr. Khan who is absolutely the best doctor I've ever had. Over the course of 7-8 months we did 5 IUIs and one round of IVF which was a success! I will say that the front office staff is not super friendly and the woman who checks out patients (not in the IVF office) argued with me almost every time I went to check out that my insurance wouldn't cover my IUIs or my ultrasounds, (which I am lucky enough to have fertility coverage for) or that I hadn't met my deductible (my insurance plan has a $0 deductible) just a lot of wasted time that she could have saved by simply looking at the benefits paperwork they have on file for me. After my first IUI she actually flat out told me that I would have pay for all of my appointments out of pocket and then do the paperwork to bill my insurance myself- just because she just couldn't believe that my insurance would actually cover fertility treatments. We finally got it sorted, but not before we were forced to pay out of pocket for that appointment, call my insurance and then call the clinic to talk to someone's boss to have them refund it and bill it to insurance properly. Cringe. Every time we checked out it was a whole conversation over and over again. You would think that after 5IUIs that person might remember us... but no haha so just make sure that if you do have fertility coverage, you advocate for yourself and really push them to do their work to bill your insurance and get the authorizations ahead of time, especially for IVF. I'll take off a star for those interactions with that one individual but overall, the nurses are great, the staff is great, the IVF nurses worked with my insurance for our round of IVF phenomenally and overall we had a wonderful experience, thanks mostly to Dr. Khan! Again, I cannot emphasize enough how thankful we are to have worked with Dr. Khan throughout our treatment, she is outstanding and checks every box you would want in a RE. Even the way the nurses talk about her when she's not around shows how much respect they have for her and how much she truly cares about her patients. Hands down the best in OKC.

Thank God we changed locations. From the beginning, just to set up an appointment the receptionists were rude, condescending and was unwarranted. We immediately were asked what doctor we were referred to, which we didn't know because the referral only said the Bennett fertility clinic. The receptionist then began to state, "well once you figure that out call back, we don't know who you are". Is that the method to begin a new patient? I get that you deal with couples dealing with issues of health and that’s part of the business you are in. If you do not like it, begin another profession. We were finally given an appointment after calling several times because every time we called a different set of requests were given (Several different receptionist). I asked my insurance company to refer us somewhere else as we had some apprehensions about this place which were correct and our referral was transferred to another specialist. When we called back to cancel the appointment we had finally scheduled, the receptionist again states “We don’t even have you booked, but I guess if I see your name, we’ll delete it”. About 3 weeks later, we received a call for our upcoming appointment and not even with the doctor we were scheduled with or requested. We informed that receptionist we had canceled it weeks ago due to the lack of consideration. This is an important process for you if you’ve made it this far. Do not settle for low level mediocracy considering the cost of what you’ll be likely paying for some of the treatment. Go somewhere else and be at peace with the decision you’ve made. Good Luck to all those going thru this process.

Can you donate ur sperm and get paid

purplewolf Queen | Oct 25, 2018

Your pay will depend on how often you donate, and how many vials — usually two or three — the sperm bank can fill from each donation. Compensation varies, but an active donor who produces specimens twice a week might make $1,500 a month. Hope this helps :)
