A few years ago I found this store thanks to Jonny builds. I had an idea for a fireplace mantle so my wife and I drove 100 miles to VRL. We found an 8"x 8"x 7 foot Cedar log that was perfect for what I had planned. Everyone there was very friendly and answered all our questions.

I was most excited about buying fancy kitchen appliances until we stopped in here! Beautiful, unique furnishings made from reclaimed wood. The staff, and especially the owner, gave us the best advice we've received since beginning our home building adventure: "start designing from the floor up." Who knew? Questions & Answers

I have 20' long vintage 2x6's.....qty. of 50 sticks. Who would be a local buyer on this.? Each piece is beautiful weathered. Was stored since 1970 under a hay barn. No decay or rot. Solid as marble!!!!!

Do you sell small pieces of stock for small DYI projects? Like beech, walnut, maple and/or mahogany? If so what sizes?

We do have a loft of lots of cut off pieces from prior projects. We actually just got some mahogany in, not in slab form though. We definitely cater to the DIYers out there though. Come by the yard and look for me, and I'll show you our smaller slabs and other various wood pieces.

Where do they get their wood from? I have a neighbor cutting down a tree, do you think they'd be interested in the heart of the large tree?

1) Do you have any lumber made from bamboo? I need two boards for the top and two shelves for a "Rolling Kitcgen Island." It needs to be approximately 4 ft long ×/~ long and the height & of an average kitchen cabinet.
