Hampton Inn Sulphur/Lake Charles Area

Very roomy and clean. We believe they are in the middle of renovations as there are a few missing baseboards, iron, and the closet items were disheveled. Breakfast area clean and stocked the preparation of the oatmeal (too runny) & waffle mix (too thick) was not to my liking. I must say they offer two types of waffle mix & the waffle maker produces four round waffles which is prefect for splitting a serving with someone.

Great last minute find. Needed to stay in town for business. Was very satisfied with this hotel. Will be staying again.

This was actually a nice place to stay. No issues except for the shower door. It would stay closed. I had to try to bathe & hold the shower door in place with one foot. Of course this caused more water to end up on the outside of the shower than in the shower. They may want to consider checking the rooms/bathrooms first to make sure everything is functioning properly as it should.

We travel frequently to Sulphur for athletic state championships. The proximity of the Hampton Inn is perfect for where our state championship takes place. So, Location gets five stars despite being right next to the interstate. Obviously, noise will be heard from the constant flow of the interstate. But given the level of service we received this time, the attentiveness of the staff, the overwhelming kindness of the manager to everyone involved in our sport, definitely makes the Hampton Inn top on our list! Thanks to everyone for making our stay enjoyable! We appreciate all of you!
