Very pretty and mostly along the lake. There were a few steep, narrow sections along the lake. But, great hike! Trails were so well maintained and well marked. There were no areas to access the water, as you were up on a cliff, so keep that in mind if you hike with your dog.

Coty Hall

One of my favorite Alabama trails. The Deadening is a moderately high difficulty trail but I would maybe rate it a 7.5 in difficulty. Lots of elevation change, great views, right on the lake. Not a trail I would bring young children on however.

I love that place. If you get a chance go to through the eye of the needle. Beautiful place to see. And it's a nice hike and it's worth going.

This was a beautiful, moderately strenuous hike that takes a few hours to fully complete with a few different points of interest. Not for the beginner, but good if you have some hiking experience. Beautiful views.
