I love Takis! The menu here is varied and unique for this area of South Carolina where restaurants don't vary much from the same old unhealthy Southern fare and all seem to have similar offerings. Takis Diner is a very nice change, offering better takes on traditional local food, but also Greek-, Mexican-, and Italian-inspired dishes. Omnivores will be happy here, and it's actually very easy to eat vegetarian here, and even vegan. They'll customize any dish as much as they can upon request. They have all sorts of combination possibilities, an assortment of customizable salads, and lots of desserts. The service is remarkably hospitable, friendly, and attentive. It's the kind of place you can eat at several days in a row and not even feel like you're eating the same things over again, as the variety is just that good. Their courtesy just makes it all that much better. It's definitely not your run-of-the-mill South Carolina eatery!
