Had a good time walking trails. Although got lost for 6 hours because they need better markings of trails on their map and new ones. Easy to get lost for sure.

Good area for biking and horseback riding. Relatively flat and gravel in most areas. There's parking at the lot on the right as you enter off rt 484. There's also parking for horse trailer as well Here you'll find a couple picnic tables, bench, and portapotty. If you skip the right turn and head further down the driveway, you'll come to the trailhead for the Halpata Indian Preserve. You can park in the grass at the gate I'm told. Both trails get very hot in the summer so bring water.

I call this the land of the lost. The trees are hugh. I don't think 3 people could touch around them. The trail is clearly marked with orange paint. Everything is beautiful.

One of my favorite places in Ocala. Great for hiking, running and biking. Shaded path trail with open fields of the natural preserve about 50 meters further up on the left to explore. Phone signal is hit and miss. Trails are very long in every direction.

No pavilion, trail head. Yellow trail starts right at trail head
Not all the time. You can get some at Ross Prairie.
