I must say that I truly enjoy the Leslie Bates Center. I would recommend and encourage anyone who is interested in a safe, fun and friendly environment to visit. The staff is caring and amazingly supportive with us old people. Not easy with some of us to. The staff makes it look easy. Oh, don't leave out our drivers. We need them too.

It's best to call Ameren and work with them to get the bill settled. Very occasionally funding becomes available to do that through Lessie Bates and/or other nonprofits, but it's not predictable nor very often.
The food is to the public. Not just senior citizen. I haven't had a problem with anything I've got there. Don't let nobody stop you from a meal. The less people go the more the person knocking the program gets in their basket. The Food Is Fine. Myself And My Family Have No Problem With It.
