One of the best hospitals I have ever stayed in. The nursing staff were the best! Explaining everything they were doing. And the food was really good. I'm a diabetic and they catered my meals by sweets and sugars.

St. Clare Hospital is a wonderful place to be. Such friendly staff and helpful. I have never had such great care in my life. I am 60 years old and had a knee replacement and they took great care of me. I will be so ever grateful for St. Clare Hospital. Tolleyne Ray

I went there in June due to Psych problems where I was admitted. I showed no signs of any psychological problems or issues, and after waiting for 2 full days before talking to the people who evaluate you AND being reassured by all the nurses I'd be sent home, they told me they'd be admitting me into another facility by force and when I began to cry, they kicked by boyfriend out of the room and threatened to sedate me if I didn't "calm down". They also told me they wouldnt allow my boyfriend or family in the room until i stopped crying "and could act like a normal person". I posed no threat to them, no danger, just grief and tears. After making myself calm down I had to wait an hour before I got to see my boyfriend again, and had to wait for a bed in another hospital to open which took another 14 hours. They just want to send people off when they dont know what to do with you. Most of the nurses don't care. I've gone to this hospital since I was 10, they've NEVER truly cared about their patients, ESPECIALLY their psych patients. Hey but I did have a nurse (I think his name was Nate or something close to that) that made me feel like a person and treated me as one as well. He's the only person there I'd ever recommend to anyone who truly needs help there. This place is an embarrassment, but I bet they won't do anything about it, considering it's been this way for years.

Because it's an ER and people go to the ER for non emergency reasons and back up the system.
Need to call the hospital for that
You'll need to call the hospital and ask for the records department.
Yes
They are under staffed. Not enough staff to find out my father in law was having strokes either. Go to Saint Joseph’s
I doubt they are number one at anything. Can’t talk in layman’s terms and can’t tell if your loved one is having a stroke
They would accept them because families are often insistent that their family member is not dead. The patient has to go somewhere. Talk with your family members and understand what quality of life is.

My room was originally built as a 2 bed room, but now there is only one bed. It has a large western window. It's great to see the sunshine in.
Ask for medical records. The hospital will need a release of some type for you to sign. In the old days you could get anything but it isn't like that anymore.
When you get there try the emergency room.
Sorry, I have no idea because I've been to the emergency room 3 times with a friend that keeps on having panic attacks. During all 3 visits, the doctors and the staff were professional. Go ahead and call them.
There is no urgent care, but an ER and a full-service hospital.
