It's very walkable. Family oriented and sociable. Every now and then I see people with their 🐕. I'm giving a heads up, just in case.

An interesting market made up of some of the best farmers and vendors in the Saint Louis Region. Midtown is a Growers and Makers Only Market, meaning that the farmers have raised/produced the lamb, chickens, pigs, beef, eggs, honey, cheese, salsa, pecans, black walnuts, peaches, blueberries, beets, melons, now featuring sprouts, onions, garlic, ocra, tomatoes of all color and size, corn, mushrooms, biodynamic products that they sell at the market and that most of the farmers are either fully organic or moving in that direction. Other makers and craft vendors are required to make what they sell from scratch: Winslows Home Baked Goods and Farm Products, Clementine Ice Cream, Old Ways soap, Ruministics Body Care, Pawtastics Pet products are locally produced products and there are a regular group of artisans that sell prints, tiles, scarves, jewelry, native tradition apothecaries, hand blown glass jewelry and the occasional author or hobbyist selling what they created...we've also hosted furniture makers. Big thing is that there is LIVE MUSIC featuring local musicians from 10:00am to 12:00-12:30ish every Saturday. The people that shop there are CWE, Clayton, Ladue, University City and Wash U. Students and a lot of young adults with children from the neighborhood who enjoy the safe and casual environment. The parking is free and easy to find if you come before noon..... it's a lot cooler in the summer to come early like by 8:30am. It's really a gourmet market and the vendors are vetted, they have to meet standards and follow the rules. Every vendor is unique! As are the shoppers and family day strollers!!!!

Not so far. It's primarily been the small dark green w/red inside and the striped green w/red inside. There have been different types of melons...cantaloupe and sun melon. This is all local grown....not imported from outside of the immediate area....150 mi radius. Real farmers, certified organic.
Hello Betty, Thanks so much for your interest. Would you go to our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/MidtownFmsMkt/ and message us. We'd be happy to follow up with you there. Thanks again!
Hi, I am not for sure on the flat rate. There is a variation of different produce according to the season. If you can't find it there, I would try United Provisions, right down the street on Delmar, across from Mission Tacos. They may be able to assist you or point you in the direction of one of their vendors. Good luck 👍
Hi Renee, yes we accept EBT cards. Visit our market information tent for details about how it works. Thanks!
No, We're open only on Saturday's 9am to 1pm right now. Everything is either grown or made by the folks selling it. Produce is seasonal and local. Thanks!
