If only I could give this review zero stars. We confirmed a move in date of January 8, 2022 with Carriage Place Apartments. We signed a 5 month lease after we sold a home and were looking for a new one. When the movers arrived on January 8, the apartment was clearly NOT ready. I’ve included some photos of what the apartment looked like after we were given the key. There was standing water in one of the bathrooms as well. There was no washer and dryer we had asked for. Four days later (after a short stay at the local hotel) the apartment was “ready”. We were promised several things (including a new bathroom sink) which never happened. We gave our two months move out notice in April. The manager sent us the “move out checklist”. One item was a 75.00 dollar carpet cleaning fee. We agreed to pay that. When we received our deposit back a week ago, we discovered we were charged 140.00 dollars for the carpet cleaning. We were told by Ryan Werkmeister (who communicated he looked into the matter) that the carpet company obviously charged more. He went on to tell us “the apartment needs to be returned to us in the condition it was given to you; that's why they do deposit”. This is laughable. Returned in the condition it was given to us?? I wouldn’t have ever returned it in the horrific condition it was given to us. The maintenance man said our apartment looked amazing when we did our final walk through. Be aware before renting any property from Carriage Place or any Stonecreek property. In response to the timely response from the Carriage Place owner: I tried calling you back. There was no answer. I also tried calling Ryan Werkmeister back but he wouldn’t take my call.

Just moved in this weekend. 3rd floor unit was very clean and in great shape! Very low noise from other apartments. Great so far!

I can honestly say that my experience at Carriage Place has been frustrating. It continues to get more frustrating the longer I’ve been here (which is less than a year). I pay a high amount in rent for my apartment which is becoming even more ridiculous the longer I’m here because of the maintenance issues I’ve had. The only attractive aspect of my apartment at this point is the garage and that is becoming less important the longer I’m here experiencing massive communication issues and extremely long maintenance waits. I actually waited over a week to have two light bulbs replaced that was too high for any ladder I owned. I am currently in the midst of a 3rd HVAC issue and this time I’ve been without AC for over a week with the replacement part still no where to be found. I call to follow up on a timeline and I am lucky to hear back the next day. I would definitely not recommend this apartment complex and have heard similar complaints among the residents here that the rent continues to increase each year and the apartments are not updated to the rent standard. They really do not care about your quality of life. I should also mention I have two young kids living with me also experiencing this.

My maintenance experience so far has been very good! I can either call the office or request online. Generally the request is taken care of the same day. I am very impressed! Thank you! The management staff are also really great and helpful! I really love living here and I especially love my apartment!
