Awesome MTB riding, dog park, hiking. Just need JSO to spend more time cranking down on the dudes playing with eachother in the woods in the north east corner. The β€œisland trail” area and the restrooms by the tower trail entrance, go and you will be followed by some creepy dude.

I love this place so quiet and relaxing but near to where I live.

Questions & Answers

Is there a fenced-in area for dogs?

Jade Green | Jun 26, 2018

The fenced in area for drugs is on the left before you get top the ranger station. It's nice and wooded too so there's lots of shade.

Are the bike trails wide enough for a buggy trailer?

It depends on where you go and the condition of the trails (i.e. how wet they are) The ones in the back near the center are generally wide enough, but it gets super soggy back there. It can be a little bumpy, but my kids loved that! Up front, it's dryer but not as wide, especially when there hasn't been maintained. Plus it's harder for other users to pass if it's busy so I'd say skip that section. Just make sure you know what you're in for. If you haven't been out there, I suggest going and walking the trails first and see if that's something you and the wee one(s) will enjoy😁.
