Questionable character... My father died 2 wks ago so I came up from Texas to help my 81 year old mother manage her affairs. I was candid with Chip up front that 1) we needed to auction off my parents personal items, and 2) we would take a week to evaluate him and two realtors about auctioning or selling our mother's house. Our goals were clear: optimize revenue for our mother and minimize the work and stress on her. I talked with several people in town who I trust and received about 50/50 feedback on Chip: both positive & negative. After much deliberation, we decided to go with a realtor to sell the house and with Chip to auction the personal item inventory. When I called to inform Chip of our final decision and to discuss terms of our contract for the personal property, he conveniently declined to work with us and made accusations that our realtor had tried to sabotage him, and that that we were too difficult to work with. That leaves me in a position now of having to search from Texas for another auctioneer to perform this service for my mother. Maybe our goals were too clear? Maybe I expected too much transparency in the terms of a contract? I'm unsure. I have worked in consulting for over 30 years, and I am certain that all business is a people business. I typically do NOT write reviews unless they are positive and encouraging. I strive to be continuously constructive in all I do. I submit this review as encouragement for people in this area, who are in need of this type of service, to beware of the ethics and intentions that drive this company.

Participated in online auction for several shippable items. 1 month passes just to find out that even with emailing the address and listing my shipping address on the invoice that was emailed to me right after auction closed, they still sent to the incorrect address and have yet to be communicated by after a request. But had no problem collecting their money right away from me. Very poorly ran and no responsible communication practices. Be weary. Would not recommend.

We took our stuff there in October 2020,a trailer load.Herebit is march 2021 and still waiting. called early February,was told he would get back with us and never got a call. Now it's the 26th of march.still nothing, it is now 6/1/21 and still nothing I guess I can call this a rip off for sure.alot of money worth of stuff in that load we took there and trusted them.plus they answer the good reviews only.it is now 10/12/21.still haven't got anything from these people, complete rip off.now it is 11/21/21 still nothing .going to try to call again,probably won't do any good but going to try.

Worst treatment from anyone, ever. As a seller, go elsewhere. Actually as anyone, go elsewhere.
