Your job will be assigned a project manager who will be your primary contact while your project is in progress.

While every job is different normally you can expect a crew of 3-4 house painters.

In order to provide you the best painting experience, we ask that: -Complete the Pre-Project Questionnaire form sent to you in your scheduling confirmation email. -Trees and shrubs are cut back from home -Provided access to working water spigot -Provided access to working exterior power outlet -Ability to paint doors & windows open, if included in scope of work -Move breakable/valuable items in your home to a safe location

Our typical production days are Monday - Saturday with a daily start time between 8:30am - 9:30am. We work an average of 9 -10 hours per day, weather permitting.

Once you have awarded ONiT your project, you will be contacted by our scheduling coordinator to schedule a date to start. For exterior projects, we schedule on a “week of” basis and for interior projects we schedule on a hard start date. Your next call will come from your assigned project manager on the Friday prior to starting to confirm your start date. Please keep in mind that start dates are tentative due to weather and production times. Your project manager will communicate any change in scheduling prior to the start of your project.

We can complete wall and ceiling repairs, wallpaper removal, and basic (exterior) carpentry repairs.

You will submit your color selections in the Pre-Project Questionnaire that is emailed to you before the start of your project.

ONiT can provide you with a color consultation to ensure that you are happy with your paint choices. Our trained color consultant will not only go over color, but also select the right finish and product that specifically meets your needs. We proudly use high quality paint products and stay tuned in with the latest trends and paint technology in the industry.

We use a variety of application methods that range from brush to roller to airless spray application. Our method of application will depend on what best suits your situation and your comfort level, but it will always be the method that will provide you with the best quality finish possible.

Paint sheens have an aesthetic purpose and a practical purpose. Choose a sheen that you like, but keep in mind that high interior sheens are more washable and resist marking better. Generally, we use flat for ceilings; eggshell or satin for walls; satin or semi-gloss for woodwork. Most of our exterior projects are done with flat paint with a satin or semi-gloss on doors and frames to ensure more durability.

All paint may look the same in the can, but that’s where the similarities end. High quality paints utilize better ingredients and less fillers which equates to a longer-lasting paint job. Low quality exterior paints tend to chalk, fade, peel, and crack – whereas higher-end products will stay looking beautiful and protect your home for much longer; and are backed by a better manufacturer’s warranty. Low quality interior paints don’t cover as well – causing the contractor to use more material to complete the job. If you’re someone who likes to keep their walls clean, low quality interior paints tend to scuff easily and not wash well, and they typically have a stronger odor that lingers in your home during the curing process, which can take as long as 30-days.
