If i could give 0 starts i would! This company takes advantage of elderly people! My grandmother called inquiring about the tub over a year ago & their objective the entire time was to make the sale, not actually see if it's a good fit for the potential customer! She was immediately setup with an appointment in which measurements were taken then the next day the tub was installed. When she went to use the tub the first time she began having an anxiety attack as she is claustrophobic. She called SAFE STEP the next day and expressed to them that she can't even step into the tub due to her phobia and requested it be removed! The tub hadn't even been installed a week at this point! They told her to sell the tub to pay them their $18,000, and they could reinstall a regular shower system for $9,000! Because she cannot use the bathtub and expressed this to them, she hasn't made any payments and they contact her daily badgering her about payments. I moved in with her 6 months ago after she suffered a heart attack & stroke. I tried to assist her in using it and can guarantee you she CAN'T, LIKE IMMEDIATE PANIC ATTACK! THEN THE EMBARRASSMENT ... I tried to help her sell the tub only to find out it doesn't even work! While showing the tub to a potential buyer, we learned the door doesn't keep the water in once filled less than half way! SAFE STEP is still telling us to sell the tub THAT DOESN'T WORK SO THEY CAN GET PAID FOR THE TUB AND TO INSTALL ANOTHER ... so in all they want $26,000!!! DON'T DO IT!

They were very professional during sales and installation. We have had multiple issues after the installation of our step in tub, they have been very slow or non responsive for request for repairs. I would NOT purchase a step in tub from this company again. Not a good experience!

Questions & Answers

My name is Roderick Dunn I live at 7511 Briar Run Court Missouri City Tx. The door on the tub will not lock in place to seal it to take a bath it's been 2 weeks and I still haven't heard from anyone about the repair and other tub what must I do

Going inside the tub, sitting, locking the door as hard as you can, and next filling up the tub with water, make sure you never accidentally bump the door lock. A very slight accidental bump on this door lock will mean a lot of water suddenly pouring out. This tub lock has to be all the way down to lock as much as possible. Call the toll free Safe Step to have a replacement tub lock.
