The older lady with the brown hair really embarrassed me beyond any embarrassment I've ever been embarrassed before I was asking about library cards so my kids could have books to read for school as their teacher instructed for homework we are staying at the domestic violence shelter and I wanted to keep it private she makes me shout it across the library three times as if she couldn't hear me the first two times and then says due to our homelessness we cannot have library cards or check out books I have never been that embarrassed in my life or humiliated everyone was staring it was horrible she tried to talk to me as I walked out the door but I was so embarrassed I almost wanted to cry as if our situation isn't bad enough trying to flee domestic violence now my kids can't have books for school I've never been so low I am already down enough that just sent us even further I could not believe that
