Old fashion ice cream parlor and candy shop. An absolute delight. Ice cream fare is amazing. If you love ice cream, get there!

When it comes to ice cream, Margie’s Candies are one of the best ice cream shops in town. I am craving for sweets my entire life, so this place is heaven for me. This place is a little old, but the service and the ice cream never get old. The hot fudge sundaes are superb and very delicious. Even in cold weather, you can crave for an ice cream from this shop. Not to mention, this shop is more than 100 years already. I will consider this as one of my favorite places to have my desserts. I will recommend this to my friends. Who has kids and relatives who has sweet tooth. Thank you very much for the service.

Amazing place for the best ice cream in Chicago. There's a reason this place has been around for over 100 years!! The hot fudge is amazing and you cannot beat their turtle sundae!! The cheesecake is one of the lightest and airyest cheesecakes I've ever tasted, highly recommend!!

I am sure they do!
Just a regular door entrance always crowded so people block the door so I would say no it's not
They have a table that seats six. It's the one The Beatles sat at. None of the seating is particularly comfortable for larger people, though. It's pretty tight in there.
Yes at times but it's been there over 100 years. I wish I could go more often but my gut won't allow it enjoy
No, I was visiting so I bought in person. But they do offer shipping.
They are open but everything is carry out. They have 3-4 tables open after you buy carry out that IF available you can sit and dine in, if not available you cannot. Its really first come, first serve.
Probably around $10, the side for the ice cream is just 1 dollar.
The food is typical diner style, nothing out of the ordinary ... But you go for the ice cream and treats. The menu has a traditional vibe to it, but you can tell they're keeping up with the times. Look at some of the photos people have posted.
No
What do you mean by "cholier" series? As far as I can tell, that's no a word. If you mean Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate Mix, you can buy that at any grocery store or big box retailer (e.g., Walmart, Target, etc.). Also, as Stephanie said, Amazon.
Actually. They do have Sugar free vanilla Ice cream
$9 including tax for a sundae which was three scoops, nuts, fudge, caramel, and whipped cream
